EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURES
In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Burst water main the use by vehicles of the Hilgay Road from 600m north-west of its junction with Station Road for 50m north-westwards in the PARISH OF WEST DEREHAM will be temporarily prohibited from 18th to 22nd March 2024 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period.
This Notice has a maximum duration of 21 days. Where exceptional circumstances are encountered during the performance of the works specified in this Notice, the operational period of this Notice may become extended by issuing an Order or further Notice to allow completion of the works for a maximum duration of 18 months.
Alternative route is via: Hilgay Road, Ryston Road, The Row, Church Road.
LOCAL PLANNED ROAD CLOSURES
NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (WTRO4565) affecting the Ryston Road from its junction with Hilgay Road for 280m eastwards in the PARISH OF WEST DEREHAM to facilitate BT duct and cabling works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 5th to 9th February 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 5 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: Ryston Road, The Row, Church Road, Hilgay Road.
